If you want to have a good way to serve lobster, you can always steam it. However, you have to be careful not to overcook the delicate meat since it can taste wrong and dry. To have a properly steamed lobster, you will need a trustworthy and airtight steamer.

Steaming lobster is a popular choice
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. Lobsters, thawed
- 1 tablespoon of Salt for every 1 quart Water
- 2 stalks Celery, chopped roughly
- 1 medium Onion, chopped roughly
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 1 teaspoon Peppercorns, cracked
- Fresh Dill, whole branches
Directions
- With 1 ½ inches of water, cover the seasonings and the vegetables.
- Add the steamer basket with lobsters on them once the water has boiled. Cover the steamer tightly.
- Make sure there is still water in the pot. Cook for 15 minutes.
- When checking for doneness in the steamed lobster, use one small leg.
Tips
If you will need to add more water to the pot, make sure to add more salt as well.
